Providenciales is a 25 mile long island in the Turks & Caicos Islands. Fondly called Provo, it belongs to an archipelago of eight major islands and numerous uninhabited cays located 575 miles south of Miami and 39 miles southeast of the Bahamas. Provo is famous for its unspoiled beaches, spectacular clear, turquoise water and pristine coral reefs. Provo offers an uncomplicated lifestyle and natural beauty. It is truly a water and beach lovers' paradise. After your first vacation on Provo, you will appreciate why the locals call it “beautiful by nature”.
Best of all, getting to Provo is easy, thanks to its international airport which accommodates many non-stop flights from the US and Canada on several major carriers. For more information about airlines and schedules into Providenciales, visit the provo airport web site.

When visiting Casa Varnishkes, you will need a car to get around the island, where we drive on the left side of the road. There are many auto rental companies on island, including the well-known names (Avis, Hertz, Budget) and some local companies. We recommend:
Grace Bay Car Rentals 649-941-8500
Tropical Auto Rentals 649-946-5300
These companies will meet you at the airport, usually with the rental car. Their personnel are friendly, their prices are good and their cars are just right for getting around the island. Both companies have vehicles for larger groups. Some of their cars have right sided steering; make sure to ask when you reserve.
There are many choices when it comes to deciding what and where to eat on Provo.
- IGA Supermarket: There are 3 branches of this well stocked supermarket: one on Leeward Highway across from the Business Center, one downtown opposite the Ballpark Stadium and the closest but smaller Graceway Gourmet Market near Grace Bay Beach Road and the Seven Stars resort.
- Restaurants: Whether you desire a simple, casual snack/meal or if you prefer to enjoy fine dining under the stars, Provo offers it all. Pick up a free copy of the Where, When, How Magazine at the airport or IGA or learn more about the restaurants on island at Where When How.
- Private Chefs: Whether for a special celebratory meal or for everyday meal preparation, the services of chefs and island caterers can be arranged to meet your needs. Please ask us for recommendations.
If Provo is the site of your dream destination wedding, you can get assistance from one of several wedding planners on the island. We recommend Island Harmony, NILA Destinations, and Tropical Destinations. Booking of Casa V for weddings or other large gatherings may require an additional Event Fee.
